Handlin and O'Scanlon Tie in Marlboro's Big Districts

Handlin and O'Scanlon tied in four of Marlboro Township's voting districts.

Amy Handlin may have garnered more votes than her running mate Declan O'Scanlon on Tuesday, but in Marlboro Township a few districts thought the two were equally deserving of the spots.

District 14 in the township elected each candidate with 147 votes and Districts 18, 19, 4 and 3 also had the two tying, according to county election results.

Marlboro Township overwhelmingly elected republican candidates down the ticket, with the exception of Freeholder candidates Brian Froelich, who won three districts in town, and the Marlboro Town Council candidates.

However, incumbents Thomas Arnone and Serena DiMaso will keep their seats.
