Marlboro Alliance Honors Three
Roy Bavaro received the Barbara Liebers Memorial Award.

The Marlboro Township Alliance has recognized Roy Bavaro, of DCH Auto Group, with the Barbar Liebers Memorial Award.
Bavaro, Director of Corporate Marketing and Branding for DCH and Executive Director of the DCH Auto Group Charitable Foundation, was selected for his efforts to raise awareness about the dangers of drunk or drugged driving.
He was honored with the award at the 20th Annual Candlelight Vigil for Drunk and Drugged Driving on Wednesday at Marlboro High School, sponsored by the Alliance, the Marlboro High School SADD (Students Against Destructive Decisions) Chapter and the Marlboro Township Police Department.

“We believe that Roy Bavaro has done so much to raise awareness of drunk and drugged driving, especially among new drivers,” said Nancy Geist, Coordinator of the Marlboro Township Alliance for the Prevention of Substance Abuse.
Bavaro works extensively with local high schools, safety organizations and safe driving coalitions to educate teens and adults about the dangers they face behind the wheel of a car.

“I am very humbled and honored to receive this award from the Marlboro Township Alliance,” said Bavaro. “Their support of our program and outreach has played a huge impact in our efforts to the get the message out that teens face numerous driving dangers.”
The Alliance also recognized Bob Fleishman, General Manager of BMW of Freehold, a DCH Auto Group dealership, and Sharon Moskowitz, also from BMW of Freehold, for their efforts to educate teens about safe driving habits. DCH Auto Group Dealerships work extensively with local high schools in their areas in effort to combat teen car crashes.
