Marlboro Kids' Dino Discovery Day April 28 And June 15

Come join Dr. Paul Kovalski, Jr. (an expert in the field) and Lynne Gustman from Marlboro Rec to search for 70-million-year-old fossils!

MARLBORO, NJ — Did you know that Marlboro Township is home to one of the most productive fossil sites in the East? Come join Dr. Paul Kovalski, Jr. (an expert in the field) and Lynne Gustman from the Marlboro Twp. Recreation Department to search for amazing 70-million-year-old fossils from the Age of the Dinosaur.

This Sunday, April 28 from 12:00 p.m. – 2:30 p.m. at the Marlboro Recreation Center. FREE ADMISSION

FREE tree saplings, dinosaur gifts, 65 million year old shark teeth. Super Fossil Displays and information from many New Jersey and other area vendors. Don’t forget to bring your fossils, bones and rocks for professional identification.

See and learn first-hand what lived here when New Jersey was part of the ocean floor. Bring a strainer and shovel. Wear old clothing and boots if desired. We will be heading down into a creek bed. Be prepared to get WET!

For ages 4 and up - Parents MUST accompany children.

Location: Vanderburg Soccer Complex. We will meet in the parking lot.
Time: 2:00 p.m. - 4:00 p.m. Please be prompt.
Dates: Saturday, June 15
Fee: $13/Resident $16/Non-resident
Deadline: 5 days prior to event Pre-registration required
