Marlboro Looks for Special Seniors for the Bernice Brownstein Award

Applications can be found online and are due by Dec. 31 to the Marlboro Recreation Center.

The Senior Advisory Committee is looking for a special senior to present the 2013 Bernice Brownstein Award to.

Bernice Brownstein was an active Senior Advisory Committee volunteer, and the award in her name recognizes seniors who volunteer in the same spirit.

Nominated residents must be at least 60-years-old, and have provided community service beyond what is expected. The nominee should also have impacted the lives of the people in the community through personal sacrifice. It isn't necessary for the nominated person to meet all of the above criteria. 

Applications can be found online and are due by Dec. 31 to the Marlboro Recreation Center.
