Marlboro PK - 8 is on a Mission to Build a Classroom in Africa

The Marlboro Township Public Schools and its staff and students are partnering with local businesses to build a classroom in Ghana, Africa.

The Marlboro Township Public Schools PK-8 (MTPS) and its staff and students are partnering with local businesses to build a classroom in Ghana, Africa through its mission, “Operation Classroom.” This will help provide education to more than 85 orphans living at the VIMA Children’s Home in rural West Africa.

In addition to building the classroom, this experience is intended to connect MTPS students with other children their age living halfway around the world. To learn more about the district’s kindness initiative and its accomplishments thus far, read the most recent article, “Marlboro Superintendent Epitomizes Kindness.”
