Marlboro Residents Appointed to Traffic Advisory Committee
The committee will work with the Township Planner, Police Traffic and Safety Officer and a representative from the mayor's office.

The Marlboro Township Traffic Advisory Committee is now full, after Mayor Jon Hornik announced his appointments on Friday.
Chaired by Councilman Scott Metzger, the committee will work with the Township Planner, Police Traffic and Safety Officer and a representative from the mayor's office.
By having a committee, the township hopes to have a more official voice when dealing with the county and state entities which maintain a large amount of roads in the township.
“Having grown up in Marlboro and raising 4 children here, I have been concerned with the increase in traffic over the years so I jumped at the chance to chair this committee.” Councilman Scott Metzger said, “Most of the trafficked areas in Marlboro are County or State roads so we will need to work with the Police and the Town Planner to allow TRAC to make the case to County or State officials.”
The appointees to the Traffic Advisory Committee are: Jeffrey Berman, Ken Block, Arnold Bogus, Theresa Despotidis, Ajay Doshi, Amy Francesco, Tom Golding, Kal Kessler, Kevin Kocun, Jules Levin, Jason Markowitz, Rahul Pawar, Irving Perlman, Shital Rajan, Steven eivich, Anthony Saggese, Robert Salman, Stuart Schlem and Michael Stern.
“We received applications from a number of residents with stellar resumes,” Hornik said. He went on to say, “I am constantly reminded of how fortunate we are to have so many people willing to give their time and expertise to make Marlboro a better place to live and raise a family.”
The first meeting will be held at Town Hall on Tuesday, November 12, 2013 at 7:30pm in Meeting Room 1.
