Marlboro Township To Offer COVID Vaccine Clinic To Residents 55+

MARLBORO, NJ - Marlboro Township will be offering COVID-19 vaccination appointments to residents ages 55 and older, according to an email announcement from Mayor Jon Hornik.

“I am pleased to announce a partnership with Centrastate Medical Center in Freehold to provide the COVID-19 vaccine,” Hornik wrote in an April 14 email.

“We are starting to see the light at the end of the tunnel, and it is our hope that helping residents access vaccines will get us there sooner rather than later.”

To enroll in the vaccination program, you must be:

• A resident of Marlboro Township
• Be 55 years old or over OR an essential worker OR an individual with intellectual and developmental disabilities 16 years or older

The eligibility requirements are slated to change in New Jersey on April 19, with all individuals over the age of 16 to become eligible for the vaccine. Read more: COVID Vaccines Will Expand To NJ Residents 16 And Older

Centrastate will contact individuals directly to schedule an appointment. The vaccine - either Pfizer or Moderna - will be administered at Freehold’s Centrastate Medical Center. All individuals must bring an insurance card and identification to the appointment.
