Marlboro 1-Year-Old Saved By EMS, PD In Choking Incident: Cops
A young Marlboro resident was given life saving CPR Monday night after she was found unresponsive and turning blue, authorities said.
MARLBORO, NJ - Rescue efforts performed by local police officers and EMS personnel in Marlboro Township are credited with saving the life of a young resident this week, authorities said in a statement.
On April 26, 2021 at around 11:15 p.m., the Marlboro Township Police Department and members of the Marlboro Township First Aid Squad responded to a 9-1-1 call from a resident who stated his 1-year-old daughter was choking and not breathing.
Responders arrived on scene within minutes, finding that the 1-year-old girl was unresponsive, gasping for air and turning blue. After a few minutes of CPR, the young resident began to cry and her normal color started to return, authorities said. She was transported to a local hospital for further evaluation.

Responding officers credited with the lifesaving rescue include Ptl. Adam Levine, Ptl. Frank Bianco, Cpl. Joshua Stonesifer, Ptl. Anthony DiMarco and Sgt. Greg Aronne.
“Chief Pezzullo stated he was very proud of the officers and first aid members for their quick, life-saving actions during an extremely difficult and trying incident,” the police department wrote in a statement. “He noted that a couple of the officers have young daughters of their own which adds an element of emotion to an already stressful situation.”
