500+ In Marlboro, Colts Neck Still Without Power Following Storm
Following severe thunderstorms Tuesday night, over 500 households were still left in the dark in Marlboro and Colts Neck Wednesday morning.
MARLBORO, NJ - Over 2,400 Marlboro and Colts Neck households were left without power on Tuesday night as severe thunderstorms passed through the Garden State, bringing with it damaging wind, lightning, thunder and heavy rain.
More than 54,700 households across New Jersey were without electricity as of 9:32 p.m. on Tuesday, with the majority of outages coming from utility provider JCP&L. The company expects power to be restored late Tuesday night - although hundreds of customers in Monmouth County were still left in the dark the next morning.
As of 10:40 a.m. on Wednesday, 3,521 households were still left without power in Monmouth County., including 500 in Marlboro and Colts Neck.
