Road Work Planned In Marlboro Through Friday: Officials

Roads will remain open in the areas of McCue Road and Gallya Grove this week while construction is underway. Here's where work is planned:

MARLBORO, NJ - Road work in Marlboro for the remainder of this week will take place on McCue Road and Gallya Grove. Both roads will remain open during construction, officials said.

On March 3, construction crews will be on McCue Road at its intersection with Mackenzie Terrace performing test pits to locate underground utilities in the area.

Additionally, from March 4 through 5, construction crews will be on Gallya Grove between Chardon Court and Imbrie Place between 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. performing an excavation project for drainage installation and investigation.

The road work announcement came in an email newsletter to residents this week, with Marlboro Mayor Jon Hornik reminding residents of spring construction - as well as spring potholes.

“Spring also brings with it potholes. As the weather warms and the asphalt freezes and thaws, pothole season comes to the northeast. We invite residents who drive our roads every day to quickly and easily report potholes on our Pothole Portal,” the mayor wrote.
