State Aid For Marlboro Schools Decreases For 2020-21 Year

This upcoming year, Marlboro Township public schools will receive $9.7 million from the state, down 8 percent from last year.

MARLBORO, NJ — Gov. Phil Murphy released his revised state aid figures last week, leaving Marlboro Township public schools with about $849,000 less than they had last year.

For the upcoming 2020-21 school year, Marlboro Township public schools will receive over $9.7 million from the state, down 8 percent from the $10.6 million received in 2019.

This year's grand total will include $1,189,069 in transportation aid, $349,448 in security aid and $3,375,643 in special education aid.

The first day for Marlboro Township public schools is Sept. 8, and the district is still on track to reopen under a hybrid plan.
