Colts Neck Administrator Recognized by State for Sandy Aftermath Efforts
Robert Bowden was recognized for his efforts after Hurricane Sandy.

Township Administrator Robert Bowden was one of eleven Monmouth County leaders recognized June 20 by the New Jersey State Senate and Assembly for their efforts in the aftermath of Sandy, according to a press release shared on Patch.Â
The June 20 resolution was sponsored by Sen. Joseph Kyrillos (R-Monmouth), Assemblywoman Amy Handlin (R-Monmouth) and Assemblyman Declan O'Scanlon (R-Monmouth) to acknowledge the work of administrators in hard-hit areas from around the state.
The New Jersey Municipal Management Association members honored from the 11th district included:
- Robert Bowden, Colts NeckÂ
- George Jackson, Eatontown
- Joseph Bellina, Freehold Borough
- Peter R. Valesi, Freehold Township
- Howard H. Woolley Jr., Long Branch
- Andrew G. Brannen, Ocean Township
