Union Hill Road is closed Tuesday morning in Marlboro due to a gas leak, authorities said. Here's where to avoid:

MARLBORO, NJ - Union Hill Road in Marlboro is closed as of Tuesday morning due to a gas leak, authorities said.
In a 9 a.m. social media post, the Marlboro Township Police Department noted that the road will be closed between Tennent Road and Willow Lane until further notice as repairs are completed.

The gas leak was reported at approximately 8:30 a.m., Marlboro Township Police Capt. Steve Levy told Patch, when a construction crew accidently ruptured a three-inch gas line.
Officers and the appropriate utility company are on location and repairs should be completed by around 4 p.m. on Tuesday, Levy added. Motorists are asked to avoid the area if possible.
