1 Killed In Chester Fire: Prosecutor
One person was killed in a Saturday afternoon house fire, officials said.
CHESTER, NJ — One person was killed in a house fire in Chester Saturday afternoon, Morris County Prosecutor Fredric M. Knapp said on Sunday.
The fire broke out just after 3 p.m. on North Road, officials said. It does not appear to be suspicious, and officials do not anticipate any charges being filed.
The name, age, or gender of the person who died was not released. It was not clear if anyone else was injured in the fire.
