2nd Man Dies Following Roxbury Crash: Police
A local man was pronounced dead almost a week after the crash that killed his father, police said.
ROXBURY, NJ — A second man has been pronounced dead following a crash in Roxbury last week, police said.
Vincent Borny, 28, died on Monday at a local hospital, a Roxbury police spokesperson confirmed. His father, 69-year-old Kenneth Borny of Stanhope, died the same day as the Sept. 24 crash.
Vincent Borny's uncle, Tom Borny, said his nephew was an organ donor. "I believe Vincent will live amongst us all in the lives of people walking this earth having a second chance and everyday smiling with gratitude knowing that someone was willing to give them that love," Borny said.

Both Bornys were remembered as creative, artistic people.
"What's amazing about my brother Ken, besides going to WOODSTOCK in his Volkswagen bus, was his love for Vincent Van Gogh, which he named his son Vincent and set his foundation of his art," Tom Borny wrote. The younger Borny worked as a music producer.

It's still unclear what caused the crash last week on Howard Boulevard, near the Ledgewood Plaza shopping center. The second car involved was driven by an 18-year-old from Sparta. Police have not released that drivers name. Police said no further information would be released as the crash remains under investigation.
