Breakfast, Brunch And Berries For Dads On The Menu In Chester

Chester's Alstede Farms is hosting breakfast and brunch over Father's Day weekend, with strawberry picking and other farm fun on both days.

CHESTER, NJ - Dads and the people they love are in for a treat at Chester’s Alstede Farms this Father’s Day weekend, with a chance to have breakfast or brunch together, go strawberry picking and enjoy all the fun the farm has to offer.

Tickets must be purchased online in advance on the farm’s website, with times available at the farm on 1 Alstede Farms Lane, both Saturday and Sunday, June 19 and 20, at 10 a.m., noon and 2 p.m.

Breakfast and brunch time slots are planned in the farm’s Harvest Hall, a rustic-style banquet hall.

Attendees can make reservations for a table with seating for up to four, six or eight people per table. Those who make reservations are asked to check in 15 minutes before; and can only stay for up to 90 minutes.

Breakfast items may include eggs, sausage, potatoes and similar items; and lunch with ravioli, Chicken Marsala, mashed potatoes, short ribs and more on the menu.

Tomasello Winery Outdoor Patio will be on hand for adults who might like to sample and purchase wines. From noon to 5 p.m. each day, live musical entertainment is planned.

Dads and families who would like to have breakfast or brunch, can then venture out before or after for pick-your-own strawberries, time to visit the Alstede’s farm store, ride in a tractor-pulled wagon, make a stop to see the farm’s animals, take their kids on a pony ride and more.
