Catch 'The Room' At A Morris County Movie Theater Next Month

ROCKAWAY, NJ — It's the best worst movie ever made: cult-favorite "The Room" is returning to theaters for one night only this January, and Morris County fans wont have to travel too far to catch a screening.

On January 10, fans can catch a screening of Tommy Wiseau's baffling film at a number of movie theaters across the state, including at the Rockaway 16 (other locations include Clifton, Edgewater, and North Brunswick). You can find a full list of theaters and purchase tickets here.

The film is rated R. Online, tickets cost $13.36 without fees.

For those who've never heard of "The Room," its beloved by fans because of how terrible it is. It's supposed to be a drama about a love triangle between a banker, his fiance, and his best friend, but comes across as a black comedy. The movie has an inconsistent plot, nonsensical dialogue, and enough non-sequiturs to make you double over in laughter nearly ever scene.

It's developed a rabid cult following, and is the inspiration behind James Franco's Golden Globe nominated film, "The Disaster Artist," which tells the story of the filming of "The Room." (Read Patch's review of "The Disaster Artist" here.)
