Chester Author Releases Second Book
Follow "Gregory The Spider" through a new adventure, written by Chester's own Cynthia Dreeman Meyer.

CHESTER, NJ — A Chester author is releasing her second book next week, "Gregory the Spider: Romping through the Year."
Written by Cynthia Dreeman Meyer, the second Gregory the Spider book follows the spider through a new series of month-themed adventures. Readers first met Gregory as a character in Meyer's first book, "Merry Stirring Mice: Santa’s Secret Team."
"Kids had so much fun finding Gregory and following his antics in that book, I knew he needed to return to star in a book of his own," Meyer said. Young readers can now follow Gregory through the months as he explores different aspects of them.

The book is currently available for pre-order on Amazon, and Meyer is hosting a book launch party at Chester's own Toys With Love on Nov. 4 from 1 to 4 p.m.
Attendees can enjoy include live interactive music, readings by local teachers, book signings, temporary tattoos, a raffle, refreshments, and a free lunch tote featuring Sweet Dreems Children's logo mouse to the first 100 book buyers.

Meyer has paired with the Senior Resource Center to help give the book to children in need. For every book purchased for donation, Meyer will match that donation with a book of her own.
Meyer lives in Chester with her husband and two dogs. The couples three children, Max, Kenny, and Gregory are all “out in the world, making it a better place,” Meyer says.
