Chester Boy Goes Undefeated In Track Season
Will Van Etten was also named an All-American at Nationals and Cross Country Athlete of the Year.

CHESTER, NJ — A Chester athlete had an undefeated cross country season and was named a USA Track and Field (USATF) All-American.
Will Van Etten raced in the USATF National Jr. Olympics Championship at Apalachee Regional Park in Tallahassee, FL on Dec. 9, where he finished 17th in his age group. Finishing in the top 25 eared him the All-American title.
He was also named USATF Cross Country Athlete of the Year by USATF NJ in recognition of his season. He will be honored in a ceremony at the Pines Manor in Edison on Jan. 20.

Other accomplishments this season include: an undefeated regular season, a Lakeland Conference championship, a USATF NJ State Championship title and a USATF Region 2 (DE, MD, NJ, Upstate NY and PA) Championship title.
