Chester Eatery Will Split Meal Cost For Frontline Heroes
The Old Mill Tavern is offering the deal on Sunday evening, Monday and Tuesday.
CHESTER, NJ - There may be no such thing as a free lunch, but healthcare workers and first responders could get half a free lunch, or dinner, at the Old Mill Tavern in Chester.
The Chester restaurant, 55 State Route 24, has been serving the community for over five decades with 24 beers on tap and American pub style food with daily specials. And for the rest of January, frontline heroes get a discount.
"Bring your favorite healthcare worker or first responder in on Sunday evening, Monday or Tuesday, and we’ll split the cost of their meal with you," the business posted to social media. " It’s been a tough year, and we all owe these great folks."
