Chester Police Investigating Vehicle Thefts, Attempted Burglary
Chester police are asking residents to review their cameras in the areas where the crimes occurred and see if they caught anything unusual.
CHESTER, NJ — The Chester Police Department needs the public's help in solving several vehicle thefts that occurred Sunday, Dec. 20 between 1 a.m. to 6 a.m.
Police said the reported thefts occurred on Fieldcrest Road, Spring Lake Drive, Beacon Hill Drive, Hillas Lane, Orr Terrace and Howell Drive.
In addition, police said there was a reported attempted burglary to a motor vehicle on Dec. 28, 2020 that occurred around 2 a.m. on Prides Crossing.

The Chester Police Department is currently asking residents in those areas to review their exterior cameras during the timeframes mentioned above for suspicious activity, suspicious vehicles or suspicious persons, and then report the information to the Chester Police Department’s Detective Bureau at 908-888-2774.
Residents are also reminded to lock their vehicles and to report all suspicious activity to the Chester Police Department.
