Chester Top Cop To Discuss Police Use Of Force, Pursuit Policy
Tom Williver will be discussing several policies with the governing body Tuesday and taking questions. Here is how to participate.
CHESTER, NJ - Chester Police Chief Tom Williver will be discussing use of force policy and a litany of other items with the Chester Township Mayor and Council Tuesday. And the public will have the opportunity to participate.
Williver's presentation will include:
- Updated Use of Force Policy
- Updated Pursuit Policy
- Use of Force Portal
- County Working Groups for Mental Health
- Police Officer Licensing
- Securing vehicles and homes from theft
- Body Cameras- Implications for our community
There will be time for questions and answers following his update, officials said. The link to join the meeting via Zoom and the agenda will be posted here.
