Civil Jury Trials Return To New Jersey—Virtually
Three counties have empaneled juries for the first virtual civil jury trials. More are expected to follow.
NEW JERSEY - In another move towards normalcy, three counties in the Garden State have empaneled juries for civil trials that began last week.
Trials in Monmouth and Gloucester counties began early in the week and the Passaic Vicinage is started theirs on Wednesday.
Consistent with the Supreme Court’s Feb. 1 order, recordings of those trials will be posted on the Judiciary’s public website within at least one business day of their conclusion.

More courts are expected to join the initial three.
