DWI Checkpoint Announced For Chester Early Next Month
Make sure you have a sober driver before you head out— the Prosecutor's Office will be conducting a DWI checkpoint.
MORRIS COUNTY, NJ — A DWI checkpoint has been announced for Chester in early December, the Morris County Prosecutor's Office said.
The exact date and location has not been announced, as it typical with DWI checkpoints. Officials were not more specific than an overnight in early December in Chester.
A checkpoint was previously announced for sometime Thanksgiving weekend in Parsippany.

The checkpoint will be conducted by the Prosecutor's Office and Chester police. The checkpoints are funded by grants distributed by the State Division of Highway Traffic Safety to establish checkpoints.
The Prosecutor’s Office has held the checkpoint in several towns around the county the past two years, including Chester, Morris Plains, Mount Olive, Parsippany, Roxbury, and Washington Township.
