'Erratic' Man Arrested At Chester Urgent Care: Police

The Flanders residents was charged with possession of a controlled dangerous substance, authorities said.

CHESTER, NJ - A Flanders resident is facing drug possession charges after an encounter with the Chester Police Department on March 11, authorities said.

Chester Police officers were called to the Excell Urgent Care for a medical call where they encountered a man who was acting in an erratic manner outside of the facility, police said.

During the investigation, officers observed CDS contraband, in plain view, in the vehicle that the man had arrived in, police said. A probable cause search of the vehicle yielded suspected cocaine and additional related paraphernalia, police said. Man was issued a summons for possession of a controlled dangerous substance and paraphernalia pending a mandatory municipal court date.
