First LGBTQ+ Pride Celebration To Be Hosted In Mendham On June 4
"Mendham Has Pride" LGBTQ+ event will take place at Brookside Beach
MENDHAM, NJ — Music, a movie, art activities, swimming and a family-friendly story hour, are all part of the fun planned for Mendham Township’s first LGBTQ+ Pride Month celebration on Friday June 4.
“Mendham Has Pride,” is co-hosted by Mendham Recreation, Brookside Beach and community partners including Mendham Stigma Free.
The evening kicks off at 6 p.m., with swimming and deejayed music, time to get temporarily tattooed and tie dyeing t-shirts (attendees will need to bring their own shirts).

At 7 p.m., the family-friendly, Drag Queen Story Hour - suitable for all ages - with Zeanon Teavee, will be a part of the festivities.
The night will wind down with a screening of the PG-13 film, “Love Simon.”
