15+ Food/Drink Trucks You Could Sample In Chester Saturday

CHESTER, NJ — More than 20 food trucks will head over to the Municipal Field on Main St. in Chester from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. on Saturday to serve up delicious eats to benefit the Chester First Aid Squad and the Chester/Mendham Food Pantry.

Music, a beer and sangria garden, vendors, face painting, kids activities, knockerball, hatchet-throwing and other fun, are all part of the Just Jersey Fest fundraiser.

Food truck chefs will be on hand to dish out garlic knot sliders, macaroni and cheese, wings, lobster rolls and grilled cheese, pizza cones, burgers, disco fries, empanadas, gyros, tacos, Choripapas, cupcakes, ice cream, zeppolis, gourmet donuts and more.

Among the food truck lineup expected, according to organizers, are:

• Ma & Pa's Tex-Mex BBQ
• Taco Revolution
• Rolling Pita
• Taxi Cab Burger, LLC

Grab a beer, margarita or sangria, including from Señor Sangria, Lone Eagle Brewing and more in the beer and sangria garden.

Almost Autumn, FISH EYED BLUES and Mr. LoveJoy are scheduled as the day's music lineup.

Attendees are encouraged to bring their lawn chairs and blankets to kick back and enjoy the festival, as well as to bring along a non-perishable boxed or canned food item to donate to the food pantry.

Admission is $5 per person, with free entry to children ages five and under.
