CHESTER, NJ — Residents in the Chesters can take home a free tree next weekend, courtesy of the Chester Township Environmental and Open Space Commission and the Chester Borough Shade Tree Commission.
The flowering dogwood seedlings will be available for pick-up on April 14 from 9:30 a.m. until noon at the Gazebo on Main Street. They'll also be handing out information on the Emerald Ash Borer, an invasive bug that can ruin trees.
