Grab Some Cool Treats In Chester At Taylor’s Ice Cream Parlor

CHESTER, NJ — With the holiday weekend ahead and summer overall an ideal time to refresh with some creamy goodness, Taylor’s Ice Cream Parlor at 18 Main Street has some ice cream choices for the Independence Day weekend and beyond.

Each person in the United States eats about 23 gallons of ice cream on an average each year, which was among the reasons why the International Dairy Foods Association says July was set by Presidential Proclamation in 1984 as National Ice Cream Month, with the third Sunday in July celebrated as National Ice Cream Day.

For an old-fashioned ice cream parlor experience, Taylor’s Ice Cream Parlor has a seating area to relax and savor their more than 48 flavors of homemade ice cream, sugar-free ice cream, gelato, frozen yogurt, vegan varieties and non-fat sorbets. They additionally can scoop their treats onto a gluten-free cone. Plus they specialize in other ice cream favorites like soft-serve ice cream, shakes, floats, ice cream sodas, ice cream sandwiches, banana splits, cakes and custom cakes, hot lava cake and their famous “Twisters,” with soft-serve ice cream, blended with two toppings.

Their ice cream is available to-go in pint, quart and half gallon containers too.

Taylor’s is open Monday through Thursday, 1 to 9 p.m., Friday and Saturday from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. and Sunday from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m.
