Lifelong Mendham Resident, Sunday School Teacher Dies At 91

Mendham, N.J. – For nearly a century, Dorothy Finch watched Mendham grow.

The lifelong resident died recently at the age of 91.

Finch worked as a switchboard operator for NJ Bell in Mendham for 20 years, and was also an employee at Sylvan Pools and Mendham Pharmacy.

She was a Girl Scout Leader in town and a Sunday School Teacher at Mendham Methodist Church.

Finch is predeceased by her husband, William, and is survived by two daughters and one son, as well as three grandchildren.
