Little Bit Of Snow Won't Stop Mendham Professor's Daily Runs
He's run every day since 1989; why should today be any different?

MENDHAM, NJ— Snow storms can bring an entire region to a stand still, taking cars off the road, cancelling school and shutting people inside. Not for Mendham's Mark Washburne though, who will be going for his daily run during the storm, just like he has every day since December 31, 1989.
Washburne will go for his 9,936th run today, just one in a string of many.
"Every day is a beautiful day," Washburn told NJ.com. He told the paper he'd switch from sneakers to a heavier shoe, and try and run after a plow had already come through the area.

"I have had days when I wish I wasn't doing it," Washburn told the Observer Tribune in 2012. "But every days is a new day to add to my list."
