Mendham Boys LAX Makes History, Takes County Title
Come from behind title game win cements best season in team history.

MENDHAM, N.J. – The Mendham Borough boys lacrosse team made history this year on numerous levels, and now has the hardware to prove it.
On Thursday, May 26, the team beat Livingston 5-4 to win the Greater Morris County Junior Schools Coaches Association Tournament.
The team fell behind early by three goals in the first quarter, but battled back to outscore Livingston 5-1 in the remaining frames.

It was also the first time the team has appeared in the Morris County Tournament, and closes the best season in team history with a record of 12-1.
“This season was a tremendous success on every level thanks to the continued support of the Mendham Borough School District and community at large,” said coach and Mendham School Teacher Evan McLaughlin.

In the title game, Justin Beimfohr scored two goals; Matt LaRosa scored two goals; and Collin Euvino score a goal.
LaRosa won nine of 12 face-offs, and he and Euvino both had seven ground balls each. Goalie Sean Day notched six saves on the day.
