Mendham Township To Offer Drive-Thru Coronavirus Testing Jan. 6-7

Testing, which is free, will take place this Wednesday and Thursday at Mendham Township Middle School.

MENDHAM, NJ — Mendham Township officials announced Monday plans to offer drive-thru COVID-19 testing at Mendham Township Middle School this Wednesday, Jan. 6 and Thursday, January 7th. The school is at 16 Washington Valley Rd. in Brookside.

For people who are interested in testing, registration is required, township officials said. Registration can be completed at this link. Testing is available to Mendham Township residents, staff and volunteers.

"We are encouraging all Mendham Township School District students and staff members to get tested before going back to school for in-person instruction on Wednesday, Jan. 13," township officials said in a news release.

During the testing, all passengers must stay in their car from arrival to departure. Staff will direct traffic, collect information and administer swab tests.

Township officials said results will be available within 36-48 hours and sent by text or email, and all testing results will be kept confidential.

While testing is free, participants are asked to bring their insurance cards, if available.
