MENDHAM, NJ — Mendham's Peter Dinklage has won another Outstanding Supporting Actor in a Drama Series Emmy, making him the most decorated actor in that category.

"I count myself so fortunate to be a member of a community that is nothing but all about tolerance and diversity, because no other place I’d be standing on a stage like this," Dinklage, who has dwarfism, said in his acceptance speech.

He also kept it lighthearted, dropping a curse word and joking, "Hey, it's over, I don't care!" (If you're interested in seeing what was bleeped on the telecast, you can read an unedited transcript of his speech.)

"We literally walked through fire and ice for you, literally, and I'd do it all again in a heartbeat," he said, referencing the title of the books on which the series is based. "Thank you."

Dinklage has won four times for his role as Tyrion in the hit HBO show "Game Of Thrones." The blockbuster drama ran its run earlier this year, making this the final win for Dinklage in this role. The actor, who graduated from Delbarton in the 80s, has been nominated for the role all eight seasons of the series.
