A 9-year-old Denville boy will get to take part in exclusive building sessions, attend special events and try out new Legoland rides.

DENVILLE, NJ — A Denville 9-year-old is living a Lego lover's dream after being named to the 2018 Creative Crew for Legoland Discovery Center in Westchester, New York.
Jake Nauheimer will get to participate in exclusive building sessions, partake in and report on special events, and test out new rides and games at the Legoland park as part of the crew, which assists master model builder Anthony Maddaloni at the park. His family will received a 4-pack of annual passes as an added perk.
“I have an impressive LEGO collection and I use my creativity to modify the sets I buy,” said Nauheimer. “I’ve even built myself in three different Lego forms – minifigure, mosaic, and brickhead like form. I will bring my humor, creativity and unique approach to the Creative Crew team.”

Students had to apply for the submission, and were picked based on their creativity, enthusiasm, and imagination.
“Selecting this year’s Creative Crew was a tough job,” Maddaloni said. “We had so many amazing creations that made choosing just twelve very difficult. I’m thrilled to begin mentoring our new crew as they explore their imagination and am excited to see what they will accomplish in the year ahead.”
