Morris County Man Charged With Stealing Photos, Recording Woman
Two women say Zachary Chambers took pictures from their cell phones and one said he shot a nude video without her knowledge, police said.
MOUNT OLIVE, NJ — A Flanders resident has been charged with stealing nude images from one woman, taking provocative pictures from the phone of another and recording a nude video of the third, without permission.
According to a press release from the Hackettstown Police Department, Zachary Chambers, 28, was charged Monday with two counts of third-degree invasion of privacy and one count of fourth-degree invasion of privacy, after the Hackettstown Police Department and Warren County Prosecutor's Office launched a joint investigation on March 1.
“An incident occurred in Hackettstown and we became the lead agency in the investigation,” Hackettstown Police Sgt. Darren Tynan said during a phone interview with Patch on Tuesday.

Chambers was personally acquainted with the three women, Tynan added.
As a result of the investigation, Chambers was accused of moving several nude pictures from one of the women’s phones to his Google Accounts and phone in Oct. 2019. He also shot nude footage unbeknownst to the second woman, while she was at her home. He was additionally charged with stealing pictures of the third female in her underwear in Jan. and Feb. 2021, uploading the images from her phone to his Google accounts and cell phone.

Tynan said after Chambers learned of the charges on Monday, he turned himself in on Tuesday. He is now being held in the Warren County Correctional Facility, awaiting his first appearance.
