Morris County Man Faces Stalking, Peeping Charges: Prosecutor
Luis Rodriguez-Ponce spent a month harassing a female acquaintance, authorities said.
MORRIS COUNTY, NJ - A 29-year-old Rockaway Township man is facing stalking charges after harassing a female acquaintance for over a month, according to the Morris County Prosecutor's Office.
Luis Rodriguez-Ponce has been charged with invasion of privacy, a crime of the fourth degree; peering into dwelling places, a crime of the fourth degree; and stalking, a crime of the fourth degree.
Authorities said that from Dec. 1 and Jan. 9, Rodriguez-Ponce stalked a female acquaintance, sent her harassing communications, and followed her back to her home on several occasions. It is further alleged that the defendant peered into her bedroom window as she was changing her clothes, authorities said.

Rodriguez-Ponce has been charged by warrant-complaint and is currently lodged at the Morris County Correctional Facility in accordance with Criminal Justice Reform.
