Will Mendham High School students from be able to unmask in September? Superintendent says the district is watching state guidance.
MENDHAM NJ — With Governor Phil Murphy’s announcement on Monday that school districts can choose whether or not masks will be required when students return to school in the fall, Mendham High School’s superintendent said no decision has been made yet whether or not students will have a mask-optional experience when schools start up again in September.
Michael Ben-David, the superintendent of the West Morris Regional High School District, said he’s waiting on the next steps whether or not Mendham Borough and Township and Chester Borough and Township students will have the choice to unmask.
“We will see how guidance evolves over the coming weeks,” Ben-David told Patch.
