No Surprises In Mendham Township, Borough Uncontested Primaries

Results are unofficial until the Morris County Clerk's Office certifies the uncontested races in both the township and borough.

MENDHAM, NJ — The polls are closed, and results have been reported for the uncontested primaries in both the Mendham Borough Council and Township Committee races. See below for live results.

In Mendham Borough, there were no candidates in the Democrat primary that Republicans will face in November, with incumbent Republican Councilmen Steve J. Andrew and P. Brennan Reilly running unopposed in the primary.

In Mendham Township, Republican Mayor Sarah Neibart and Deputy Mayor Nick Monaghan ran unopposed. However, in the General Election Democrats Eric A. Inglis and Meredith L. Sahi, will challenge them for their seats.

Mendham Borough Council (two seats up for election)

  • Steve J. Andrew - 359
  • P. Brennan Reilly - 353
  • Write-In (R) - 1
  • Write-In (D) - 13

Mendham Township Committee (two seats up for election)

  • Sarah Neibart (R) - 363
  • Nick Monaghan (R) - 380
  • Write-In (R) - 9
  • Eric A. Inglis (D) - 183
  • Meredith L. Sahi (D) - 183

The results of all of these races will be official once the Morris County Clerk’s Office certifies each of them, after all mail-in ballots are tallied.
