Recent Mendham High School Grad Dies At 19

With deepest sorrow, we announce that Thomas James Ricca, age 19, our most beloved son, brother, grandson, nephew, cousin and friend passed suddenly on September 26, 2019.

Those who knew Tommy, even just a little, lost a shining light in their lives.

Tommy will be missed every day by his parents, Michael and Susanne (Lucciola) Ricca, his sister, Andrea, and his brother, Michael, his grandmother, Joan Ricca, his grandmother, Lois Lucciola, his great Aunt Roe and Uncle John Sheehan and his many loving aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.

Tommy attended Mendham High School and was a student at Fairleigh Dickinson University. His passion and love for Seton Hall Basketball and Rutgers Football was unparalleled. He cherished time at the beach in Mantoloking, with dear family and friends. Tommy never failed to make his friends and family laugh, and the memory of his beautiful soul will be cherished forever.

Friends and family will be received at the Bailey Funeral Home, 8 Hilltop Road, Mendham, NJ, , from 4-8pm on Monday, September 30th. Funeral Mass will take place on Tuesday, October 1st at St. Joseph's Church, 8 W.Main St., Mendham, N.J. at 10am. A private family interment to follow.
