Route 206 Bridge Opens Early
The work was supposed to take two more days, but it wrapped up early.

CHESTER, NJ — After over a week of detours and delays, the Route 206 bridge has reopened in Chester.
The road was closed between Four Bridges Road/Hillside Road and Bartley-Chester Road/Hillery Drive starting at 8 p.m. on July 6. It was supposed to stay closed through July 17, but reopened two days early, on July 15.
The aging bridge beneath the roadway was replaced during the work.
