Start Your Engines For Chester's Classic Car Show On Saturday

CHESTER, NJ — Ford Model T’s, 1957 Chevrolets, Mustangs, Corvettes and other classic cars and trucks are planning to wax up, shine up and get ready to ride to Chester’s 20th Annual Classic Car Show on Saturday.

Car owners and enthusiasts alike can head to Chester’s Main and Perry Streets from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. - with a rain date on Sunday, June 13 at the same times - to check out all the cool wheels.

Admission is free to the public with a registration fee of $10 per vehicle, with a portion of the proceeds benefitting the Cancer Hope Network, a Chester-based non-profit and volunteer organization that offers one-on-one support for adults battling cancer.

Registration for drivers is planned between 8 and 10 a.m., with the show from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., with D.J. “Doc South” spinning tunes at the event.

Trophies will be given out at 4 p.m. on Perry St., for “Best Engine,” “Best Truck,” “Best Paint,” “Best in Show” and “Top 5 Winner” categories. Vehicle owners and their vehicles must still be at the show to pick up a trophy.

Shopping and dining in historic Chester are other highlights for the day as the show takes place, with over 80 unique shops and eateries to choose from.
