Trunk Or Treat Back For 2018 In Chester Twp

CHESTER, NJ — Trunk or treat is back in Chester Township for Halloween 2018, and registration is now open.

The fun will be held at Chubb Park on Oct. 26 (rain date: Oct. 29). Kids can trunk or treat, take part in a monster mash dance party, and parade in their costumes. It's free and open to all Chester families.

Participations should bring enough candy for about 300. Prizes will be given for best trunk, best children costume, best adult costume, and best leashed pet costume.

To enter the park, you must register by Oct. 25 at this link: register.communitypass.net/chestertwp

Here is the schedule of events:

• 4:30-5 p.m.: Enter the part and set up cars
• 5 - 6 p.m.: Trunk or treat
• 5-7 p.m.: Monster mash music
• 6-6:30 p.m.: Costume Parade
• 6:30 p.m. - 7 p.m.: Contest winners announced
• 7-7:3o p.m.: Leave the park
