WATCH: Morris County Freshman Tops ESPN Highlight Reel With Buzzer-Beater

MT. OLIVE, N.J. - Matt Montello’s only a freshman at Mount Olive High School, but he may have just drained the biggest shot of his career.

Down one to Sparta Township with just seconds remaining, Montello took the inbound pass and heaved it three-quarters of the court. The shot thumped the backboard and through the net, helping Mt. Olive win by two as the clock struck zero.

Even more impressively, Montello’s prayer made it to ESPN this week, making the number one spot on SportsCenter’s Top Plays.
