West Morris School Calendar 2017-18: First Day Of School, Vacations, Conferences

The first day of school in West Morris is August 28. Feel free to mark it on your calendar as one of the most dreaded days of the year for students and teachers — and feel free not to feel guilty about marking it as one of your favorites. The West Morris Regional High School District has released its 2017-2018 calendar for public schools.

The calendar includes important dates such as winter and spring vacations, religious holidays, federal holidays, early dismissals and parent-teacher conferences.

• 11/22: Half Day (Thanksgiving Break)
• 11/23 - 11/24: No School (Thanksgiving Break)

• 12/22: Half Day (Winter Break)
• 12/25 - 12/29: No School (Winter Break)

January

• 1/1: No School (New Year's Day)
• 1/15: No School (Martin Luther King Day)

February

• 2/16 - 2/19: No School (President's Weekend)

March

• 3/26 - 3/30: No School (Spring Break)

May

• 5/28 - 5/29: No School (Memorial Day Weekend)

June

• 6/4: No School for Students (Professional Development Day)
• 6/12: Last Day of School, Graduation
