2012 Essex County Softball Tournament Seedings

Livingston is the top seed in the 35th annual Essex County Softball Tournament, the Seeding Committee announced this week. Defending champion Nutley ranks No. 2. Rounding out the top 5 are No. 3 Mount Saint Dominic Academy in Caldwell, No. 4 West Essex in North Caldwell and No. 5 Cedar Grove. 

The 20th Seed Millburn Millers won their first game Thursday against Science Park High School of Newark and advance to play 17th-seeded Newark Academy. The winner of that game will be the 15th Seed in the ECT.
