4th Of July Fireworks 2021 In Millburn/Short Hills

MILLBURN, NJ — Coronavirus cases continue to drop across the country while the number of those who are fully vaccinated continues to rise, which means there is even more reason to celebrate this Independence Day. July 4 is almost here, so it's time to find out what Fourth of July fireworks and festivities are going on near you.

We have all the fireworks shows, parades and festivals happening in and around Millburn, so you can start planning now.

What: Millburn-Short Hills 4th of July
Where: Taylor Park in morning; Fireworks at Millburn High School Football Field at night
When: Flag raising at 9 a.m.; Family Fun at 10 a.m. including magician, art, reenactment, scavenger hunt, and more; Fireworks at 9 p.m.

Other Essex County Fireworks

The dates and performers include:

• "Smooth" on Wednesday, June 30 in Weequahic Park in Newark
• "The Infernos" on Thursday, July 1 in Brookdale Park in Bloomfield/Montclair
• "The New Jersey Symphony Orchestra" on Thursday, August 26 in Branch Brook Park in Newark
