A Lovely Day for Field Day
Fifth graders from all the schools get to know each other a bit before meeting in Middle School.
Millburn fifth graders caught a lucky break that their Field Dat at Millburn High School fell on Tuesday instead of Monday when temps climbed to over 90-degrees or Wednesday, when it was kind of cold and drizzly. Tuesday was just right -- a perfect day to play games outside all day.
Fifth Grade Field Day brings together all of the elementary school fifth graders to get to know each other through friendly competition.
Students are assigned to color-coded teams randomly made up of students from each of the five schools. Points are accumulated for the team color that wins each event.
