Millburn Real Estate Agent Leads Effort To Create Masks
Carisa Reilly is leading a town-wide initiative to make masks, The Mask Makers for NJ Workers.

MILLBURN, NJ — Carisa Reilly, a sales associate affiliated with Coldwell Banker Realty in Short Hills, has been doing important work in the Short Hills and Millburn community in response to COVID-19. Reilly is leading a town-wide initiative to make masks, The Mask Makers for NJ Workers. They have produced more than 3,000 masks and scrub caps thus far.
Reilly said she is delighted at becoming known around town as "The Mask Lady." She was recently interviewed by CBS News about the dedicated efforts of the volunteers from The Mask Makers for NJ Workers. Reilly said she is thankful to Millburn Mayor Jackie Benjamin Lieberberg who has been “really supportive and a great leader and adamantly reminds people to wear masks.”
The Mask Makers for NJ Workers recently donated 200 masks to Family Connections to support the organization’s social workers and clients throughout northern New Jersey. Reilly said she was honored when Family Connections asked her to join its board.

The Mask Makers for NJ Workers has developed its own unique design, with the masks designed to be comfortable, effective and easy to adjust with a toggle instead of loops around the ears. Reilly added, “Based on community demand and feedback, we started making masks for children age 2 and up, so we have a whole line of sizes to fit any face.”
Reilly is also going to take part in an initiative on Alignable.com called #mymoneystayslocal, which involves being a leader in the community to encourage people to support local businesses and services whenever possible. She is also part of a volunteer gardening project in Millburn and Short Hills.
