"Evil Dead," and "Chashme Baddor,"  open this week in nearby theaters but Millburn still has some winners.

"The Croods" is a new animated prehistoric comedy adventure that follows the world’s first family as they embark on a journey of a lifetime when the cave that has always shielded them from danger is destroyed. Traveling across a spectacular landscape, the Croods discover an incredible new world filled with fantastic creatures -- and their outlook is changed forever.

In the sci-fi love story, "The Host," starring Dianne Kruger, humans become hosts for unseen invaders with their minds being taken over while their bodies remain intact. Most of humanity has succumbed. When Melanie (Kruger), one of the few remaining 'wild' humans, is captured, she is certain it is her end. But Melanie refuses to relinquish her body or mind and uses the invader to help her find the man she loves.

Horror fans have waited since 1981 to see a remake of the cult classic, "Evil Dead." The movie tells the story of five 20-something friends holed up in a remote cabin who discover a Book of the Dead. Without their knowledge, they unwittingly summon up dormant demons living in the nearby woods, which possess the youngsters in succession until only one is left intact to fight for survival.

"Chashme Baddor," is the story of three friends who live together in a small house in Goa, India. Omi and Jai lead a carefree life. The only thing that seem to keep Omi and Jai going are the women in Goa. Sid is their sober roommate, who leads a simple, straightforward and humble life. The two womanizing slackers attempt to woo aSeemaa the new girl on the block, while their quite roommate Sid is the one to win her heart. Green with envy, the two men set into motion a wild and devious plot to break the lovebirds apart.
